Running a business is already demanding — your bookkeeping shouldn’t be another source of stress or uncertainty. Many owners end up guessing where their money is going, falling behind on categorizing transactions, or scrambling to organize everything when tax season arrives.
Oakrise Bookkeeping exists to remove that uncertainty. I keep your QuickBooks accurate, organized, and up-to-date so you always know your numbers and your accountant receives clean records.
I work with small businesses that want reliable, ongoing bookkeeping rather than trying to keep up with it themselves.
Most clients:
• Use QuickBooks Online (or are willing to switch)
• Have business bank and credit card accounts
• Want organized records year-round instead of only at tax time
Common clients include contractors, service businesses, and owner-operators who want their books handled consistently each month. If you’re unsure whether you’re a fit, the intro call is simply to see if I can help — no pressure.
Intro Call – We briefly discuss your business, current bookkeeping, and what you want help with.
Review of Your Current Records –
• If you already use QuickBooks Online, you add me as an accountant user so I can review the books.
• If you don’t use QuickBooks yet, you can send the last few months of bank/credit card statements so I can understand transaction volume and organization level.
Quote & Agreement – After reviewing transaction volume and organization level, I provide a flat monthly price or cleanup quote.
Bookkeeping Begins – Once approved, I categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, and bring everything current.
Monthly Updates – Each month your books are updated and financial reports are sent directly to you so you can clearly see where your business stands.
• Categorize income and expenses so your records stay organized
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts so balances match QuickBooks
• Keep books current throughout the year
• Monthly financial reports sent to you and always available in QuickBooks
For businesses that are behind or need corrections.
• Organize uncategorized transactions
• Reconcile past months
• Bring books up to date for tax preparation
Every business is different, so bookkeeping is priced based on monthly transaction volume and complexity rather than hourly billing.
Most ongoing monthly clients fall between:
$150 – $500 per month
You’ll know the exact price before any work begins.
After a short call and review of your books, you’ll receive a clear flat monthly price — no surprises or changing hourly fees.
Cleanup or catch-up work is quoted separately depending on how many months need correction.

Hi, I’m Jayden Lipp, founder of Oakrise Bookkeeping. I started Oakrise to help small business owners gain clarity and confidence in their finances without needing to become bookkeepers themselves. My approach is simple: consistent monthly work, careful review, and clear communication so nothing is left unclear or rushed at the end of the year.
I’m a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and Intuit Certified Bookkeeper, and I work remotely with small businesses across Michigan and the U.S.
Q: Who do you work with?
A: I work with small businesses, contractors, and self-employed professionals across industries. If you earn income from your work, I can help keep your books in order.
Q: Do you work remotely?
A: Yes! I'm a remote bookkeeper, which means I can serve clients anywhere in the U.S. using secure cloud-based tools like QuickBooks Online.
Q: What bookkeeping software do you use?
A: I'm a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and Intuit Certified Bookkeeper. I use QuickBooks Online to provide accurate, organized financial records that are easy for you and your accountant to access.
Q: How often will you update my books?
A: I specialize in monthly bookkeeping, which keeps your records up-to-date, avoids year-end stress, and gives you a clear picture of your financial health.
Q: My books are behind. Can you help me catch up?
A: Absolutely! I specialize in cleanup projects to help bring your books current and accurate. Whether you're a few months or a few years behind, I'll help you get back on track quickly and affordably.
Q: Do you replace my accountant?
A: No – I complement your accountant. My role is to keep your books accurate and organized throughout the year, so when tax time comes, your accountant has everything they need.
